Where Great Brands Grow

Organix

The baby and toddler snack category is growing as parents are becoming more health conscious about the food and snacks they are giving their children. Organix, which provides healthy, tasty and organic food for babies and infants, is at the forefront of this market in Ireland.

Since 2015, SHS Sales and Marketing have been working with Organix to drive sales and visibility in the multiple, convenience and cash & carry sectors. This activity has resulted in the brand achieving 50% growth in 2016 on 2015 figures.

SHS Sales & Marketing has assisted Organix to develop baby Organix Ring Biscuits, Fruit Bars & Oaty Bites and Goodies toddler snacks which include mini cheese crackers and banana puff corn. Each product is made with the best organic ingredients.

In 2017, Organix will launch a new mixed-flavour multipack of its Organix Goodies

Fruit Gummies. The move is designed to drive penetration and growth as multipack formats appeal to different shopper groups. With a retail sales value of £12 million, fruit snacks account for nearly one-fifth of shopper spend on snacks. The Goodies fruit range has more than a quarter of the market share and is delivering 15% year-on-year growth.

Organix has also created a range of Finger Foods for tiny hands and small mouths. New products include apple rice cakes and carrot sticks. A unique specially designed ring biscuit, which is the perfect choice for a baby's first organic biscuit, has also become a firm favourite.

"Our foods come with our No Junk Promise so they're always organic with no unnecessary additives. SHS Sales and Marketing have delivered consistently strong commercial results on behalf of the Organix product portfolio. In 2016, they delivered a 50% increase on the total 2015 sales figure. Adopting an insight-led approach, SHS Sales and Marketing have secured premium positioning within key channels which has contributed to the recognition of Organix as category leaders and enabled the development of innovative merchandising opportunities."
